Episode #109: Versus!

Episode #109: Versus!

Welcome back to another weekly episode of Book Friends Forever! Grace and Alvina discuss various categories and where they fall: for example, morning larks vs night owls, introverts vs extroverts, and more! As usual, the book friends also catch up on each other’s lives and share what they’re grateful for.

As a reminder, in late May, the book friends podcast will host a very special guest author, Paula Yoo! Her new latest book is called From a Whisper to a Rallying Cry: The Killing of Vincent Chin and the Trial That Galvanized the Asian American Movement. It will be very exciting to hear from her! Hopefully you can read the book beforehand and tune in to this book discussion episode. It will be much like the episode #69 when Grace and Alvina talked to author Jason Reynolds about his book Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You: A Remix of the National Book Award-Winning Stamped from the Beginning.

“How have you been?”

Alvina visited the Brooklyn Botanic Garden to see the beautiful cherry blossoms! Sadly, Grace has been dealing with the death of one of their beloved chickens, Melvin.
