Grace was recently on an MSNBC news segment called Velshi Banned Book Club featuring A Big Mooncake for Little Star.

Kate has been settling back in after a string of school visits.

Alvina talks about the Mock Caldecott event held recently where they review and try to guess what books will win. They pick books they THNK we will win and books they WANT to have win:

Choosing Brave: How Mamie Till-Mobley and Emmett Till Sparked the Civil Rights Movement, and Hot Dog!

Kate talks about some of the books that she has coming out: Fergus and Zeke for President, The Scariest Kitten in the World, and History Smashers: Christopher Columbus and the Taino People. In 2020, Kate had 11 books published! The book friends discuss the pros and cons to prolific publishing and this leads into a conversation about time management in the business.
