Grace is back from her China and Taiwan adventure and tells Alvina (and our listeners!) all about it! She shared her highlights and challenges, including bargaining for "bacon jade", and of course talks about all the delicious food she ate.

For the Fortune Cookie segment they talk about the results of the recent Book Friends Forever survey, including the demographics of who the listeners were. And, they end as always with what they're grateful for.

Trip high’s and low’s:

Grace first talks about some of the difficulties on her travels. She had some issues with her eSIM card! In Hong Kong, students really loved The Gate, The Girl, and The Dragon. Kate Milford and her sister-in-law came to join her! They went to the Jade Market to get Hazel a piece of bacon jade. Grace shares food highlights of course and talks about her sense of adventure that got rekindled on this trip.

Fortune Cookie Segment:

Grace and Alvina discuss the Book Friends Forever survey! Alvina is giving a BERL lecture on April 18th from 1-2pm at the Eric Carle Museum! On Friday, April 15th, Grace is doing a special charity dance where you can watch Grace and her husband do a K-Pop Demon Hunters dance!
