Episode #42: Q&A!
Would you like to learn some fun facts about The Book Friends Forever? Who wouldn’t?? On this special episode, Grace and Alvina answer submitted questions from their listeners. They also catch up on each other’s lives, remind everyone what they’re grateful for and prepare of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
Alvina and Grace reminisce about last week when they met in NYC and had some great ramen! They had Taiwanese dessert at a place called Snow Days that they highly recommend. Alvina was off to Baltimore the next day to visit with friends. Her friend was having a 40th birthday celebration with a Blade Runner theme!
Lucky, while vintage store shopping with a friends, she found a super cool jacket that was just perfect for the occasion.
Grace recaps the story about how she discovered there was a fake review online in her name! Her names was used to create a fake review about using a ghostwriter! This obviously made Grace so mad because who would do such a thing? Also, was it going to hurt her reputation now that this bit about using a ghostwriter was out there? It could not be farther from the truth. She really had to dig deep and not turn to social media as an anger outlet. “Think Before You Tweet” she remembered! (From last week’s podcast!)
Next, Grace and Alvina take five questions from their listeners and take turns answering them on this podcast. Here are the five questions, but to find out what their answers are, you’ll have to tune-in to the entire episode!
As usual, Grace and Alvina end each episode expressing what they are most grateful for. This week, Alvina is so thankful for friends who have theme parties. They’re so interesting and festive! Grace is thankful for the Thanksgiving holiday so that people can take some time off and gather. She is hosting many friends and family members this year so she’s hoping it goes well!
