Grace and Alvina talk about change--what the major changes in their lives have been, and how one can become better at adjusting to change. For the Fortune Cookie segment, they talk about posting children on social media and privacy issues.

How have you been?

Grace had a school visit in Connecticut and is pretty exhausted. Alvina did karaoke with an old co-worker. The VP of Sales for Little Brown is leaving, Shawn Foster.

Change

This topic came to Alvina after she was inspired by the book Master of Change by Brad Stulberg. The author says that the average person undergoes more than 30 big changes in their life. Alvina and Grace share their top 3 changes.

Gratefuls

Grace is grateful for the school visits lately and all the excited kid energy. She is also grateful for winning the May and June Horn Book cover contest! Alvina is grateful for old friends and co-workers.
