Grace’s bucket list item complete: a hot hair balloon ride! On this week’s episode, the Book Friends Forever take a trip down memory lane and revisit their trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona many moons ago.

Taking in the views at The Grand Canyon
Since Alvina has been getting ready for her sabbatical and Grace has been traveling so much, travel has been on their minds. The friends reminisce about the hot air balloon ride, the GRAND-ness of the Grand Canyon, the yoga in Sedona, and a walk on the Sky Walk.
In relation to bucket list items, there is discussion and exploration about about goal setting. Both Grace and Alvina came from goal-oriented parents but Alvina’s were more specific. In Grace’s family there was more pressure because you just had to be the best at whatever you were doing. They both agreed that being goal oriented come with pros and cons. Alvina wants to reach the goal of one day attending the Oscars, while Grace wants to win a gold medal!

As always, Grace and Alvina end with sharing what they are grateful for. Alvina is grateful for the opportunity to go on Sabbatical and Grace is so thankful she has a happy daughter even when she has to travel away from her so often.
