Andy overseas Little Brown Books for Young Readers and Orbit. He has worked for Hachette Book Group for 17 years.
How have you been?
Grace just returned from New Orleans as the keynote speaker at the joint meeting of the National Council of Teachers of English and National Council of Teachers of Math. Grace discusses the importance of intersectionality teaching in the classroom. Alvina has the day off because it is Juneteenth. Andy is in the Adirondacks getting their shared family cottage opened up for the summer. He’s celebrating a 100th Birthday party of their house in Ossining, NY!
What we are obsessed with
Andy: Andy’s been reading “Life’s Work: A Memoir” by David Milch
Grace: Grace has been obsessed with her new found enjoyment of caffeine!
Alvina: Alvina is obsessed with a Tik Tok love story.
Gratefuls:
Alvina is grateful that her Dad is doing well after surgery. Grace is grateful for her warm reception at the NCTE and NCTM conference and for being home now. Andy is grateful for his career!
