Lillian’s busiest season in book production is the summer! Her birthday is coming up and she’s looking forward to celebrating with her husband.

Book Production

Lillian explains how she “fell into” book production and the printing process. The book friends talk about the price of paper and inflation! Since Lillian is in the business of books and sees them as objects, Alvina is curious about what she reads for pleasure. The only thing she does not read are graphic novels because she does not care for the format. Lillian shares her favorite and least favorite parts about her job.

Fortune Cookie Segment: What are we excited about reading this summer?

Grace has some audiobooks that she is looking forward to listening to the three new Enola Holmes book by Nancy Springer. That is her “beach read”. Lillian is also reading a Netflix influenced book, One Day by David Nicholls. Alvina is going to read Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree.

Gratefuls

Alvina is grateful for feeling comfortable out in the world post-covid, event though it is still around, she doesn’t worry about it as much. Grace is so proud of Hazel for singing a solo in the choir concert! Lillian is grateful for being able to spend time with her family.
