How have you been?
Grace’s Uncle passed away and she’ll be attending his funeral in New Jersey. Yesterday was Hazel’s first day of school and she was upset with the new schedule at the school. The good news is that she has finished all the Ling & Ting sketches! Alvina had a great time at Coney Island with her family! Cheryl is going to Europe on a cruise with her parents for two weeks.

Fortune Cookie: What are we looking forward to about fall the most?
Grace is looking forward to the cooler air and her Very Asian Book Tour in October with Debbie Michiko Florence! Cheryl was very helpful in planning that! For Cheryl: There will be two authors she is traveling with this fall, Jewell Parker Rhodes and Kate McKinnon! Alvina is looking forward to going to Toronto for the Wild Robot premier and for the 50th Birthday trip to Bermuda with Grace!
Gratefuls
Cheryl is grateful for the cooler weather is upon us soon! Grace is grateful for the small family trips this summer and checking off this bucket list items! The last one was a family bike ride to school. Alvina is grateful that she could get reservations at the new Taiwanese restaurant called Din Tai Fung.
